We have just come back from the OHS Biennial Conference in Woodstock, Ontario. The guest speaker and instructor was Anne Field travelling all the way from Christchurch, New Zealand. What a lovely elegant lady! She is well known world wide as an expert in spinning and weaving. Collapse weave is one of her specialties and brought her skills to eager weavers wanting to better understand this unusual style of weaving. Rose Haven is very fortunate that we stock Habu Textile’s Wool Crepe Overtwist which is one of the yarns used to create collapse weave effects. We just about sold out! But if you are interested in this technique, we have both the wool crepe overtwist and also the black or white silk crepe overtwist yarns.
